Getting back in shape after a back injury along with a knee injury and surgery is never easy. For me, it was very easy
to feel like I could never get into shape again. Lindy has made it possible for me to see the light in the exercise tunnel
again. She has a passion for fitness and it is infectious! She doesn't do "cookie cutter" work outs. She pays attention to my body and my needs. She is very knowledgeable and is able to modify everything for me ensuring that old injuries
do not happen again. Her understanding of the physical mechanics of the body allow for her to push everyone regardless of
their physical abilities. Don't think that she will go easy on you even if you have modifications. She will make your session
challenging and motivating.

Nutrition is a huge part of Lindy's
personal training. She reviews your menu weekly and tweaks the areas where you need work. She also sends ideas on ways to clean up your recipes. The best part is
her recipe tweaks still taste like food! :)

Although I am obese I am currently in good health. I know if I stay on the weight
path I am on I will have serious health problems in my future. Training gives me motivation and helps me focus on small
goals that will add up to get to my main goals. Lindy has a way of giving challenges that are attainable but still demanding
enough keep you on your toes.

I love Lindy! She makes working out fun and she never
has you do the same workout twice which keeps it interesting. I've tried other personal trainers before, but I was always
intimidated by them, thinking they were judging me, but Lindy is awesome and laid back and I never feel embarrassed or that
she's judging me. We're constantly laughing and talking during our workouts so it’s always exciting to go to a training
session. My friends laugh at me because I talk about her so much and if were eating I always seem to throw in a Lindy phrase
like "eat protein with your carbs". Even though I'm away at school now I can still email her my food logs and she sends them
back with advice and new workouts to try which is different from a lot of trainers who lose contact with a client once their
sessions are done. She also trains people of all ages and really flexible with people's schedules. I would highly recommend
her to everybody! I love Lindyfit.

I just wanted to drop you a quick note to say
thank you!!!!!! Jadie, Dawn and I all finished the half marathon. We did not break any land-speed records, but
we enjoyed the experience. And, thanks to the awesome training schedule, we actually felt good at the finish. Now, of course,
I can’t help but ask myself, what next????

Lindy, thank you for initiating the training for the
half marathon. I ran my first half marathon today and it is mostly because of you. If you had not organized the training I
would not have met such awesome people to train with and I would not have finished the half today. Thank you again for just
doing what you do. My new goal is to do a triathlon this year and the full marathon in 2008. I won't ramble on any longer
but I am really excited about my new found sport - running! Thanks again!

Lindy is amazing! I hit my 30s and gained 30 lbs. Coincidence?
No, I stopped working out regularly and thought if I could run 3 miles once per month that qualified as being in shape and
felt my food choices were pretty good as I regularly skipped meals except for Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday night
dinners. That was 4 days of high fat dinners. Moody and feeling fat I was totally wrong and with Lindy's
training sessions 3 times per week I was able to get back into the groove and have never been as fit as I am now.
I went from wearing a size 10 to a 4. I was 160 lbs. at 5'7" and went down to 133. I lost a total
of 21 inches all over. I absolutely despised wearing size 31 jeans and now love wearing designer
jeans in size 27. I never thought I would enjoy shopping for clothing or bathing suits again. I feel fantastic
and enjoy being stronger than I ever thought possible. Lindy is wonderful (and I have had other trainers, even
a Mr. Universe contestant, with not near the same results). Not only does Lindy tailor your workout to your
goals, she really knows the importance of cardio and nutrition and is adamant about educating others on nutrition, which
I believe is key. She always demands 100% of your effort (no faking that you can't do it). She is always
discussing nutrition to the point I hear her in my head when I open the fridge or go grocery shopping. Except for occasional
treats, I have stuck to better food choices and now realize that the absolute minimum amount of cardio I can do per week is
three 40 minute sessions and I love weight training thanks to Lindy's ability to lean me out and show me just how amazing
your body is able to develop strength and structure (I can in the mirror at myself and now smile). Lindy has given me
my body and life back. Now I can be all that and more. I still go to Lindy just to keep me on track and motivated
as well as to continue to challenge myself and to be consistently reminded to eat healthy. Lindy is a lifestyle
changer, not just another trainer!

I have hired other personal trainers
and not achieved my personal goals using them. I am a results oriented person, and measure the value of any commodity (personal
training) by the results it produces. Although there are times I might grumble at her, Lindy is producing the type of results
I expect. I am 47 years old have lost 7% body fat inside of 11 weeks and am slowing achieving the type of body I have always
wanted. I have lost inches off my waist and added size to the places that I needed it added. I would highly recommend Lindy
to anyone that is truly committed to making a change in their lives. I have recommended her to many of my own friends, but
do not hire her if you are not seriously committed to making a change in your life. Be prepared to be challenged and take
pride in the results. |

I have worked out for years on
my own, and was fairly content with the results. That was until I started trying to get my body back after having a baby.
I went to Lindy and she developed a program for me that have completely changed my body. I am leaner now than I ever have
been. After only about 7 weeks of following the program, I had lost almost 3% body fat and 5 inches. And talk about motivating!
If the results themselves were not motivating enough, Lindy is always there with words of encouragement. I work out first
thing in the morning, and she is always so encouraging and supportive. Lindy does expect a high level of commitment and lots
of hard work, but she gives you all the tools it takes to be successful and reach your goals. I am in the best shape of my
life, and I would not have been able to achieve my current level of physical fitness if it were not for Lindy. I would totally
recommend Lindy to anyone who wants to change their body, their fitness level and their lives. But be prepared to work for

I have spent a majority of my life
overweight. I have tried many diets and many diet pills. Some of these diets and pills had success. But, once you introduce
real food or when you stop taking the pills the weight comes back and then some. Then four years ago came my first child and
more weight gain. I had lost control of my weight and health. Now, I am determined to get that control back and Lindy is making
that possible. I have never put nutrition and exercise together. Well, I never exercised. But, in 11weeks I lost 20lbs and
lost a total of 20 inches. I have had moments of setbacks and Lindy had encouraged me through the hard times and kept me on
track. She expects 100% of you and in return you get 100% of her plus RESULTS! I am taking back control and I know for a fact

I first decided to participate
in Lindy’s challenge because I had recently lost weight and thought I just needed something to help maintain my weight.
Summer would soon be here. I thought I was already working out hard and knew how to eat healthy. It didn’t take me long
to realize how wrong I was about everything. I never realized how much Lindy and the challenge would motivate me to push myself
harder than I ever had. Lindy has also taught me how to REALLY eat healthy by choosing yummy, filling recipes instead of starving
my body. I am working out much harder now and enjoying every minute of it. During the 16-Week-Challenge, my body fat went
from 23% to 11%. I have a new life now because I am addicted to exercising and eating healthy. I now have the energy to keep
up with my three children, and I can instill better eating habits in my entire family. Look out, because my husband is competing

Never in a million years did I believe my body could change so much in just four short months! The last three
years I have avoided the gym, too embarrassed that I had become so out of shape. Reluctantly, I had also begun to believe
the lie that as a menopausal woman, I was destined to be overweight; and when I hit fifty-one this February, after two years
of menopause, I honestly had little hope to regain my figure. To overcome my intimidation with the gym, I hired Lindy Pfingsten,
an incredibly encouraging and very knowledgeable personal trainer. I was prepared to work hard and she delivered. Although
my eating habits were already very good, keeping a food log helped me to tweak my daily meal planning for faster results.
Using a heart rate monitor (which counts calories), was highly motivating to me. I set a goal to burn at least 500 calories
a day (3500 per week) during YMCA classes, training sessions or jogging. After only 5 weeks of training, my 4 % body fat loss
shattered the menopausal-extra-weight-forever myth! In 16 weeks my body fat decreased from 29.5% to 19.0%! My weight loss
of 11.2 pounds does not sound huge, but that translates to a 16.4 pound loss of fat mass and a 5.2 pound gain of muscle mass!
Menopausal women, we CAN do it! Last week, as a youth camp counselor, I was able to easily keep up with the 100 teenagers
our church took to camp; even when the elevators went out and we routinely took 19 flights of stairs to our rooms 3-4 times
per day. This fifty-one year old (young) woman was carrying teenager’s luggage up 19 flights of stairs; sweating, yes;
out of breath, NO! Wahoo! When I look at my before and after pictures, I just can’t imagine the old me was ever me!
I thoroughly enjoy going to the gym again (Goodbye intimidation!); running 2-3 miles 4-5 times a week is once again a refreshing
part of my life; and some of my old clothes are actually too big! But most important to me, I know my new healthy lifestyle
is now a part of my DNA, one that is truly doable. And yes, those before pictures will definitely be blown up to 8 X 10’s,
and hung in my closet as a reminder of the other lady I kicked out, never to return! |
